 91 000 74051 Sika Injection-101 IN is a two-component, water-reactive polyurethane resin that foams when it contacts water, forming a flexible, hydrophobic closed-cell foam. Its designed for stopping running water leaks, filling cracks and joints in concrete under hydrostatic pressureideal for foundations, tunnels, water tanks, retaining walls, basements etc.

Low viscosity resin for deep penetration into cracks & voids. Produces a flexible, closed-cell foam that is hydrophobic and resists future water ingress. Reacts with water to foam up to 40 its original volume. Fast gel time (10 seconds) allowing quick sealing. Comes pre-batched (5 kg kit: 4.5 kg base + 0.5 kg catalyst) for ease of use. Suitable for use under hydrostatic pressure.
Q1. How is Sika Injection-101 IN applied?Clean the crack/joint (remove loose particles, oil, wax).Seal around the injection packer (if needed) to avoid resin escaping.Mix Part A (base) and Part B (catalyst) at 90:10 ratio (or adjust within allowed limits for reaction time). Use injection pump to inject resin at low pressure, allow foam to expand and seal.Once set, clean away excess.Q2. What is gel time & cure time?Gel time is about 10 seconds at 25-30 C. Tack-free / initial curing takes 2 hours. Q3. What are the packaging & storage details?Comes as a pre-batched 5.0 kg kit: 4.5 kg base (Part A) + 0.5 kg catalyst (Part B). Store in sealed, unopened containers at 5-30 C. Shelf-life 12 months. Q4. Is it safe for potable water or for use in drinking water tanks?It is hydrophobic and resistant to fungi/microorganisms. But products like this are generally for structural waterproofing, not for direct contact with potable water without checking specific approvals. Always check local PDS / safety data. Q5.
