91 000 74051 Bostik Elastocoat is a high-performance, water-based, elastomeric acrylic coating designed for waterproofing and protecting exterior cementitious surfaces. It offers excellent crack-bridging, UV stability, low water absorption, and is antifungal & antibacterial. Ideal for use on roofs, terraces, masonry walls, cooling towers, and exposed concrete surfaces

Q1. How many coats are required?

A: Two coats are standard: one base (sealer) coat, then Elastocoat applied in two coats. Recoating after the first has dried (~4-5 hrs) is recommended.

Q2. How thick should each coat be?

A: Typically each coat around 150 microns dry film thickness (DFT); two coats total.

Q3. What is the crack-bridging capacity?

A: It can bridge cracks of up to ~0.5 mm. Drinking water/ambient moisture conditions and substrate movement affect performance.

Q4. Can this product be tinted?

A: Yes, it comes as a white base which is tintable.

Q5. How durable is it against weather, UV, dirt etc?

A: It is UV stable, low water absorption, low dirt pickup, with long-term durability. Antifungal / antibacterial helps reduce stains / biological growth.

A: Surface must be clean, free of dust, loose particles, oil, and laitance. Any cracks or defects should be repaired. Primer/sealer coat applied first for better adhesion.
